A Komsomolsaya Pravda newspaper correspondent has been wounded during a shelling in Lebanon on Sunday. An unprecedented amount of about 100 Israeli rockets hit the city of Kiryat Shmon on July 30, according to newspaper reports.
“It takes two minutes for a rocket to reach Haifa, and they have time to turn on alarms. But it takes only 20 seconds for an Israeli rocket to reach Lebanon,” Yaroslava Tankova said.
“The first rocket hit Kiryat Shmon at 6:00 a.m. Five minutes later another one exploded, then another one,” Tankova recalls. “I was able to roll down to the air-raid shelter.”
After the end of the raid at 9:00 am local time the Russian journalist had come out of the refuge and decided to take a look at the city to assess the consequences of the shelling. She headed to the Emergency Service building when a terrifying whistle sounded above and the earth shuddered again.

She came to her senses at a hospital. Fortunately the rocket didn’t explode, and she survived. Tankova suffered a concussion of the brain and was wounded with multiple small stones which were scattered when the rocket fell."
