Not worthy of a topic, but...

It is scientifically approved that if your job is simple, which means you're doing pretty much the same every day, your IQ predicts how fast you'll learn to do it, but not how well you perform. Whereas if your job is complex which demands it requires change an ongoing basis, then the best predictor of success is the general cognitive ability.
Jordan Peterson says it's a "general rule".
Pretty basic if to give it a quick thought.
